Bikes for the World
Bikes for the World (BfW) is a sponsored project of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association whose central mission is to collect unwanted bicycles and related material in the United States and deliver it a low cost to community development programs assisting the poor in developing countries.

The Prevention of Blindness Society of the Metropolitan Area has been working in the Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, Prince George's and Montgomery Counties for over 70 years providing vision screening to children for vision loss and strabismus, visual fields screenings for glaucoma for adults and senior citizens; rendering eye examinations and eye glasses for the poor and homeless; offering pamphlets, speakers and programs on specific eye problems and more.

All donations are tax-deductible.

Please ask for a tax slip at the time you make your donation. Call the Resale Shop of your choice for its hours of operation.
